Parks & Recreation offers Passport Services including Registration, Renewal, Forms, Photos
- Passports must be renewed every 10 yrs for adults and every 5 yrs for children under 16
- Routine wait time is 6 weeks
- Routine expedited wait time is 2 weeks
You'll need an approved Passport if you're traveling outside the U.S.
Passport Regulations Have Changed.
Depending on how you travel, you may require a passport book or only a passport card
A PASSPORT BOOK is required when traveling by AIR and is acceptable when traveling by land or sea
A PASSPORT CARD is acceptable when traveling by LAND or SEA ONLY.

*The $25 mandatory Processing Fee is paid directly to the City of San Gabriel. Acceptable forms of payment for the Processing Fee are cash; VISA; MasterCard; or a check or Money Order made payable to th City of San Gabriel
The San Gabriel Recreation Office is a designated Passport Acceptance Agency, authorized by the U.S. Department of State to accept Passport applications.
Got an Emergency? Travelers departing within 2 weeks must call for an appointment to be served at the Los Angeles passport Agency (only those with an appointment will be admitted to the agency). The appointment system can be accessed 24 hours a day from a touchtone phone by calling: (310) 575-5700. Those traveling in more than two weeks must apply for their passport through their local passport acceptance facility.
