Schools in the San Gabriel Unified School District receive generous financial support through the San Gabriel Educational Foundation (SEF). SEF is dedicated to enhancing San Gabriel's student educational opportunities by building community involvement and fundraising. SEF partners with the District to provide Classroom Grants to teachers and staff, supplement the District's Instructional Media Center, and provide the District's Music Program. In 2005, SEF donated $35,154 for 29 teacher grants in the areas of Math, Science, Social Studies, Language Arts, computer technology & software, supplemental materials, and enrichment programs.
